Happy New Year! With 2025 over we have some site stats to share along with a song pack release.
Overview of 2025
2025 marked the first full year of having AV1 encoded videos be the standard, and we finally left the legacy server for a better suited server in which you can find the details in this milestone update.
Video and Creator Stats
With the consistent 4-5 daily videos released over the course of the year, we are at 5,565 videos as of the December 31st release. This is almost 1,500 more than where we started in 2025.
We also hit a major milestone: over 1,000 creators! Earlier in December, the HMV Makers List page was updated and had 1,011 creator accounts listed. It has increased slightly since then.
Site Stats
From January 1st, 2025 through December 31st, 2025 we have the following analytics:

22,886,049 page views (15.3% up from 2024)
- average 1,907,170 per month compared to 1,654,335 in 2024
- average 63,572 per day compared to 55,144 in 2024
- 5,565 videos (+1,482 new videos)
- 1,011 creators*
- 2.2 million active users (average ~6k daily users)
*note there might be a small number of duplicate creators (e.g. alias). This is the number from December 7th, 2025.
What is also worth mentioning is the number of hits that some author pages got:
- Martoise was highest at 47,491 visits.
- PixelFH was second at 29,368 visits.
- Albinohawk was third at 17,540 visits.
1000 Creators
To celebrate the 1,000 creator milestone, we got artwork from the talented artist Hatdog Guhitera and also have a DDR songpack release of 20 songs!

HMV Creators 1000 edition Release
We’ve put together a pack of 20 songs with stepcharts from Beginner to Challenge to celebrate the 1000 creators milestone!
The ITGMania version of the pack has the +0.009 offset applied to all charts and a 418×164 compatible song banner. The in-game song name listing is also the original song names rather than the creator and HMV name.
The DDR version of the pack is based on a 0.000 offset for all charts and uses a 512×512 song jacket. The in-game song name listing is creator and HMV name.
